Unknown shipwreck off coast of Sussex identified as Dutch warship from 1656
The wreck was known as the 'Unknown Wreck off Eastbourne' but it has now been identified as the Klein Hollandia which sunk in 1672. Specialists used a team of divers, archival research and tree ring analysis of the wood samples to identify it.
