UK car industry sees surge in sales to Azerbaijan after Russia sanctions

New data from HMRC shows that direct car exports to Russia remain at zero, where they have been since the imposition of sanctions in 2022 - but in January £43 million worth of cars were sent to Russia's neighbour Azerbaijan.
