Tories are taking public for 'fools' over wet wipe ban, says Liberal Democrats leader Ed Davey

The government has said it will launch a public consultation on plans to ban plastic wet wipes which clog up UK sewers, but opposition parties pointed out the Conservatives first waged war on wet wipes in 2018.
