Three people taken to hospital after gas explosion near Bristol

Around 40 people have been evacuated from surrounding homes in the area, with a refuge centre set up nearby, Avon and Somerset Police said.

A house has been destroyed after a reported gas explosion, with three people taken to hospital. The house in Yate near Bristol was burnt almost completely to the ground after the blast caused a fire on 29 April.
