Thousands convene for 60th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr's March on Washington

Various civil rights leaders and a multiracial, interfaith coalition of allies attended the rally in the same place where as many as 250,000 people gathered in 1963 for Martin Luther King Jr's 'I have a dream' speech.

The March on Washington is widely seen as one of the most important racial justice and equality protests in US history.
