Texas: Disaster declaration issued as wildfires spread
Raging wildfires in northern Texas and neighbouring states have forced evacuations in several towns and the closure of a nuclear weapons plant. Unseasonably hot and dry conditions, along with strong winds, have fuelled the rapid ignition and spread of the fires.
