Supreme Court rules legal definition of 'woman' is based on biological sex
In a comprehensive 88-page ruling, the court concluded a legal dispute between the Scottish government and the advocacy group For Women Scotland. The five-judge panel ruled unanimously in favour of the campaigners, stating that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex.
