Suitcase uses artificial intelligence to guide blind people safely in Japan

Researchers in Japan have developed navigation suitcases using artificial intelligence (AI) to help the visually impaired get to their destinations safely. A survey by the Japanese Ophthalmological Society shows that the total number of blind people in Japan has reached about 1.64 million.

In Tokyo, 30 blind people tried the suitcase during a special activity.
