Stem cells: Charities call for more black and Asian people to donate after numbers halved since the pandemic
The number of new donors who came forward in 2022 more than halved compared to 2020, and charities are now urging people from ethnic minority groups to come forward, as patients are likely to be successfully matched with a donor from the same ethnicity as themselves.
