Spy ship: 'Russians have sent spy ships near UK waters for many years', says former defence chief
A Russian "spy" ship stopped at sites around wind farms off the Scottish coast in order to gather intelligence, an investigation has claimed. The news was not that shocking for Deputy Chief of the Defence Staff Sir Simon Mayall as this practice dates back to the Soviet era.
