Russian general shot in Moscow 'assassination attempt'
Vladimir Alekseev is one of the most senior military figures in Russian – the deputy head of Russia’s military intelligence service, formerly known as the GRU. Investigators say he was shot multiple times in a residential building in Moscow on Friday morning.
