Police recover more than 1.5 tonnes of live eels during multi-national raids

Raids coordinated by Spain, France, Europol and the European Anti-Fraud Office led to the recovery of more than 1.5 tonnes of live eels. Police detained 27 people and confiscated more than €2m in assets.
