Police in France are holding protests to demand better pay and conditions during this summer's Olympic Games

Police unions say there should be bonuses of up to €2,000, guaranteed holiday leave and childcare support for officers this summer. The interior ministry has suggested every officer in France would be mobilised during the two weeks of the Olympics.
