PM says there were 10 times more prison escapes under Labour government

The Met Police issued urgent appeals to trace Daniel Abed Khalife after he made his getaway on Wednesday morning. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has stressed the government "initiated an internal inquiry" into the circumstances of a former soldier who escaped from Wandsworth prison.
