Health officials in Pakistan are reporting an outbreak of waterborne diseases in areas hit by devastating floods. Diarrhoea, skin diseases and eye infections are spreading at relief camps set up by the government across the country.

Southern Pakistan is bracing for yet more flooding as a surge of water is flowing down from the north. More than 1,100 people have died, while around a million homes have been damaged.
