Officers could face misconduct inquiry after failing to spot murder victim
Recently-retired Brian Low, 65, was discovered dead on a secluded path near Aberfeldy, Perthshire in February. Police assumed he had died from natural causes but a week later discovered gunshot wounds and launched a murder inquiry.
