Nurse strikes: 'What a day for nursing' says RCN boss as health secretary wins High Court bid

Health Secretary Steve Barclay has won a High Court bid to stop a nursing strike scheduled for Tuesday 2 May going ahead. Speaking outside the court, the head of the RCN Pat Cullen said: "They've taken the most trusted profession through the courts by the least trusted people".

RCN chief Pat Cullen confirmed two days of strikes on Sunday and Monday will go ahead.
