NHS in crisis: December was 'very, very difficult' for ambulance service, says assistant chief ambulance officer

Jeremy Brown from West Midlands Ambulance Service said demand for ambulances had improved recently. But an increased amount of calls last month 'resulted in really quite significant delays' in getting to patients.
