Lucy Letby sentencing: Witnesses not compelled to give evidence in government non-statutory inquiry

The government's inquiry into how the neonatal nurse was able to murder seven babies before she was reported to police, will be independent from the NHS and government and will involve input from families, but will not be a statutory inquiry, which would compel witnesses to give evidence.
