Israel confirms it is holding Gaza hospital director Dr Hussam Abu Safiya
Dr Hussam Abu Safiya is being held on suspicion of "involvement in terrorist activities", Israel has said, and accused him of "holding a rank" in Hamas. They have not disclosed his whereabouts and human rights groups have raised concerns for his wellbeing.
