Guatemala: Shops looted in protests against attorney general as president condemns acts of vandalism

Protests broke out in Guatemala, after one of the most tumultuous elections in the country’s recent history. Demonstrators argue that the attorney general has tried to prevent President-elect Bernardo Arévalo from taking office in January.
