Flights to rescue British nationals trapped in Sudan are in the air

Shortly before 7am in the UK, 9am in Cyprus, Paste BN saw an RAF A400M military transport aircraft take off from Akrotiri airbase. It headed south towards Sudan, around a three and a half hour flight time, to rescue British passport holders trapped in the country.
