Courts minister dismisses Elon Musk's comments and insists 'these are riots, not protests'

Heidi Alexander said anyone who took part in violence over the last few days can "rest assured that there will be a prison place waiting for them if they are convicted". Ms Alexander also dismissed claims from the X owner, Elon Musk, that "civil war is inevitable" in the UK.
