Canada: Soaring temperatures continue to fuel wildfires in western Canada
Since the first local state of emergency was declared on 4 May, over 782,000 hectares of land have burned, local officials said. Climate researchers in Alberta say hot, dry, and windy weather has pushed fire conditions even further into the extreme.
