A huge batch of files relating to the disgraced paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein has been released, featuring three million pages of documents and thousands of videos and photos.

High-profile figures have been named and pictured in the latest tranche of documents, but that alone does not suggest wrongdoing.

Among those photos are images showing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on all fours over a woman lying on the floor, former president Bill Clinton cutting a slice of cake for a woman on what appears to be a private jet, and Melania film director Brett Ratner hugging two unknown women alongside Epstein.

Here, Paste BN looks at a selection of photos in the latest tranche of the Epstein files, as our team works to sift through the documents released by the US Justice Department.

A spokesperson for Mr Clinton has previously acknowledged he took four trips on Epstein's private plane in 2002 and 2003, while US media outlets have reported he travelled up to 26 times, citing flight logs.

Mr Clinton has denied any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.

In 2019, a spokesperson said he "knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York".

In his 2024 memoir, Citizen: My Life After The White House, Mr Clinton wrote: "The bottom line is, even though it allowed me to visit the work of my foundation, travelling on Epstein's plane was not worth the years of questioning afterwards. I wish I had never met him."

Director Brett Ratner can be seen in photos hugging two unknown women alongside Epstein on a white sofa.

We do not know where or when the photos were taken, or who took them.

Three women appear in the pictures and each of their faces have been redacted.

In one picture, Mr Ratner can be seen with both hands around one of the women while he stares straight into the camera.

A second photo includes the late French sexual predator and model scout Jean-Luc Brunel, who is sitting on the sofa with a third woman.

Being pictured in the documents is not a sign of any wrongdoing.

Mr Ratner has returned to the spotlight this year after directing Melania, a documentary about Donald Trump's wife and first lady of the US.

As Paste BN reported in 2017, Mr Ratner was accused of sexual misconduct by six women, which he said he "vehemently denies".

As Paste BN reported in 2022, Brunel was detained in 2020 as part of an inquiry into allegations of rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment. He was found dead in his cell at La Sante prison in Paris before a trial could take place.

Bill Gates seen in framed photo

One image in the files shows a framed photograph of billionaire Bill Gates, stood next to two people whose faces have been redacted.

Mr Gates has admitted Epstein joined him for "several dinners", telling CNN in 2021 he had been hoping Epstein's contacts could help him raise money for global health causes.

"It was a huge mistake to spend time with him, to give him the credibility of being there," he said.

He did not give any timeframe for the meetings, although US media have said they were between 2011 and 2014.

The photos also show Lord Peter Mandelson sitting next to Epstein on a yacht.

The image was part of a batch of more than 100 pictures in total, and it is unclear when it was taken.

In a statement, the former UK ambassador to the US said: "I was wrong to believe Epstein following his conviction and to continue my association with him afterwards. I apologise unequivocally for doing so to the women and girls who suffered."

Being pictured with Epstein is not a sign of any wrongdoing.
