A young child has been found safe and well after police in London issued an urgent appeal to find a missing car.
A statement issued by the Metropolitan Police said they were "urgently trying to locate" a white Audi A3, which they believed the infant was inside.
But the force said the vehicle was later discovered, with the child found at another location.
"The white Audi we appealed for has been found and the child located safe and well elsewhere," the later statement said.
"We're establishing the circumstances of the report."
Officer had said the car was last seen in Beckton Triangle, Newham, at approx 12.18pm today, asking anyone who saw it to report it as an emergency.
Beckton Triangle is the home of a large retail park in east London, featuring a number of major chain stores.
It lies at the junction of two major roads in the capital, the A13 Newham Way and the A406 North Circular.
The site is also around three miles away from both London City Airport and the River Thames.
