Man arrested after death of woman in Peterhead house

A man has been arrested following the death of a woman in Aberdeenshire.
Police were alerted to concern for the woman at a house in Peterhead's Catto Drive shortly after 6.15pm on Tuesday.
The 58-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
"There is no risk to the wider public and enquiries to establish the full circumstances are at an early stage."
