Garden parties, military rehearsals and sprucing up the streets - just some of the preparations going on ahead of the King's coronation on Saturday.

In recent days, well-wishers and royal fans have begun to line the Mall in Central London ahead of the procession on Saturday, while others have been using their time to add a dash of colour to their communities.

The royals, though, have been at garden parties and late-night rehearsals, ahead of what is likely to be an even busier weekend for them.
