A British businessman has been shot dead while sitting in his Porsche in the Thai resort town of Pattaya.
Police say a gunman pulled open the door of the car and fired a single shot at father-of-four Tony Kenway, 39, at point-blank range.
"He was shot once in his head, the bullet casing was a .38 calibre," Police Major General Somprasong Yentaum, head of Chonburi police, said.
CCTV images obtained by the Thai media show Mr Kenway walking from a gym to his red Porsche Cayenne GTS.
A person standing nearby approaches from a different direction, and opens the car door just after Mr Kenway has pulled it closed.
He then appears to lean in and shoot Mr Kenway.
The gunman ran away to a nearby road where he is taken away on a motorbike.
Police say Mr Kenway, originally from Southampton in Hampshire, had lived in Thailand for seven years.
The Bangkok Post reported that his Thai wife Somporn told police her husband had set up a website design company but was involved in a business dispute.
She told police she did not know if that had anything to do with the killing.
Pattaya is about a two hour drive from Bangkok and is a beach resort popular with expat residents.
