Four men have been charged following the seizure of a cannabis farm said to be worth £2m.

Police Scotland's Ayrshire proactive crime team made the discovery during the raid of a premises at Stevenston Industrial Estate near Ardeer on Tuesday.

The force said the large-scale cannabis cultivation had a potential street value of £2m.

Four men, aged 30, 32, 34 and 36, have been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences.

They are due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
