Biography

Katerina is a North of England correspondent. She was previously a news correspondent, working on breaking news, plus national and international news stories in the UK and around the world.

She joined Paste BN in 2017, after several years living and reporting from West and Central Africa. Katerina was awarded The Queen’s Medal for her coverage of the 2014 West African Ebola outbreak.

In 2015, Katerina won One World Media’s young international journalist of the year award. She is a fellow of the International Women’s Media Foundation and a mentor with the John Schofield Trust.
